We build simple & affordable solutions for companies to get the most from the data they collect, allowing them to ditch paper and spreadsheets in favour of our mobile, and web tools.
Gecko was established in 2012 by Matthew Lanham with the vision of improving the way companies managed enquiries generated from all corners of their digital marketing, it was a problem that he had experienced first hand whilst running a digital agency, and something that existing solutions were not providing.
During the end of 2012, Gecko participated in ignite100 which is one of the UK’s top tech accelerator programmes, and graduated with investment from Northstar Ventures, IP Group, and 4 angel investors. The journey has been amazing; what started out at something simple, that would fit Matthew’s needs, has now grown into a suite of products that are used globally every day.
Gecko is committed to building products around the needs of our clients across the education sector, that increase the success of their student recruitment activities, and reduce the workload associated with recruitment.
Through its existing customers, Gecko has taken the time to understand every aspect of the student recruitment process, and its challenges. This knowledge is at the heart of every product we make, ensuring we’re solving real problems, that provide real results for institutes.
Matthew is the founder of Gecko Labs. He works closely with our clients to understand their needs, and uses this knowledge to define and drive the future roadmap of new products.
Head of Sales
Iain looks after sales at Gecko, ensuring that we take the time to understand the problems and challenges faced within the sector, and identify the right products to drive our clients success.
Head of Development
Malcolm heads up the development team at Gecko, ensuring that the team deliver high quality software to meet our clients expectations and ensure that Gecko is always available.
We use the Gecko product at HE fairs and exhibitions with the iPad app delivering both in the clarity of the data captured (no more translating handwritten email addresses) and in the overall amount of leads captured. We’ve found people are much more willing to tap their information into an iPad than they are to lean over a desk and fill in a paper form by hand. The app has been used successfully at events in the UK, the EU, North and South America, Africa, the Gulf, and South East Asia.
